Susan Hurst is a fashion illustrator currently living in Boston, Massachusetts. Born in Queens, New York, she has degrees in both architecture and fashion design from the Boston Architectural College and the Massachusetts College of Art respectively. Susan spent her formative years in Miami Florida listening to disco and punk rock music, and her illustration style is heavily influenced by it as well as the vibrant colors of Miami, where lime green and magenta are neutral colors! Through her art she would like all women to appreciate their uniqueness, and to know that there is no one standard of beauty, because as Oscar Wilde so eloquently said: “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.”
